The Process started years ago when I designed magazines for nine countries at The United States Information Agency (USIA). This experience created a platform to start our design firm in the mid 80's.
With a Major in Fine Arts and a Minor in Graphic Design, I was influenced in part by Iakov Chernikhov, Victor Vasarely and Yaacov Agam. Their works, based on geometry, played a great part in my understanding balance and its relationship to design and communication.
Digital wall art is the extension of everything we have learned. Using algorithms and simple math I generate vector lines which are then layered, filtered, brushed and bent into symbols of controlled expression.
The results are Giclee prints. This process is used to ensure the highest quality and resolution. The art is printed on Photo Rag Ultra Smooth 310 GSM white Archival matte Fine Art paper.
Many of the Series are also influenced by Mid-Century Contemporary Design, International Contemporary Design and the Sarasota School of Architecture.
